  • John Park Selected for New Ad Campaign

"John Park, comedian, entertainer and plate spinner has agreed to supply photos for our new ad campaign" stated Ron Dixon, Marketing Director, in a recent release.

"This picture typifies a small business owner" said John Will Tenney, insurance agent and owner of the Tenncom Group, "and we like the message it purveys, that we can take some of those plates away and allow the business owner to work on the productive areas of his or her business."

John Park can be seen at PlateSpinning.com
  • New Plans in Development Stages

Recently, the Tenncom Group is working with some alternative solutions for common business insurance problems.

One of the perennial problems is General Liability. Often business owners are stunned to find a large "audit premium" following their first year audit.

This problem has been solved in the Workers' Comp field by popular "Pay as you Go" plans, offered by many payroll companies and almost all PEOs.

The plan underway calls for a new algorithm to compute "Pay as you Go" General Liability premiums based on payroll amounts.

The Tenncom Group hopes to release this plan to its client PEOs and payroll companies shortly, after some trial testing.
  • Ron Dixon Congratulates the World Champion NY Giants

"I can no longer say I am the last Giant to score in a superbowl" commented Tenncom Group PR Director Ron Dixon. "Once again I am a Giants fan. I think I'll jump on that band wagon again."

The Giants became World Champions by defeating the previously unbeaten New England Patriots tonight by a score of 17-14 in Superbowl XLII.

Ron scored the only touchdown for the Giants in the 2001 Superbowl, in the Giants defeat to the Baltimore Ravens, 34-7, when he ran back a kickoff 97 yards for the score.

We join Ron in his congratulations. Go Giants!
  • Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season from The Tenncom Group

All of us at the Tenncom Group wish every one a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday season.

Remember to slow down a little and enjoy the reunions, some of which only occur once a year.

We will be having our holiday party on December 29th, a Saturday, starting at 3pm. Kids are welcome!

Once again, the band "Chapter 13" will be playing (who interestingly enough, are now in to their 5th year together - without a single bankruptcy between them!)

Food will be catered by local restaurants, including our friends at Hooters Lake Underhill.

The 2007 racing season is over and plans are underway for 2008. Stay tuned ...
  • Racing Campaign Continues

With five attempts and four races completed, the PEO Pros race team is starting to get "seasoned."

"We have two more Sportsman races to spend, before we lose eligibility for Rookie Of The Year in 2008" driver John Tenney told us, "and after those two we will begin testing in other classes, such as the Late Models."

So far the campaign has had some limited success, with some branding and name recognition among the business owners involved in Florida Auto Racing. In fact, the team has launched an independent news site - FL Auto Racing .com.
