Had a great discussion today on personality profiles. As usual, we had a lot of laughs as well.

Once again, we are meeting on Friday’s at Toojay’s Waterford at 8:30 am.
We are back to Toojay’s in Waterford Lakes Town Center.
We enjoyed Boston Coffeehouse but Mitch has a new group on Friday’s that is larger than us and needs the room (The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.)
We also enjoy the excellent food at Toojay’s so this is a win – win.

We had a sit down with Dan Felix of Trustco Bank today.
Dan is the branch manager of the Alafaya Woods branch in Oviedo, FL. 1500 Alafaya Trail, Suite 1000.
Dan tells us, “Business is booming right now. The mortgage market is greatly improving. The housing values haven’t really started climbing yet but people are borrowing money to buy houses.”
Dan can also help you with a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC). Small business owners can have their accounts handled by a personal banker, which is definitely the way to go in today’s market.

We’ve been really happy with our Meetup.com site. Many new members came from this excellent social networking tool.
In fact, it’s a lot easier to update than this blog! I’ve been lazy and need to do more over here.
In the next few weeks we are going to be working on personal glimpses – sharing stories and experiences to get to know one another better.
It will help to build trust in relationships, which is what networking is all about.
The February 6th meeting will be about referrals, giving and getting.
This is an important topic in networking so plan on being at this one.
While Boston Coffeehouse is an excellent location, there are some “logistical difficulites” involved in moving a 40+ group there. We know we can do it, maybe we will again in the future.
In the meantime, we are going to restructure the tables at Toojay’s to make more room.
